BreakDoor Humans, Hunters, and Conversion
Eight Survivors, two spawn Demons, and the roles that appear when a room falls.
BreakDoor is not a gacha roster. It is a role map. GhostTribe’s online mode puts 8 Humans against 2 Demons for about twenty minutes. The Humans are also called Survivors. The Demons are also called Hunters. Mid-match, those labels can lie, because a Human can convert into a Hunter, and Lethal Poison can convert original Hunters. This hub is the index for that identity mess. Child pages: Survivor roles, Hunter roles, and the full badges list.
If you came here looking for a “best character,” you want the class ranking for gem kits and this hub for sides. Life Wizard is a purchase. Converted Hunter is not.
The two starting sides
Humans load into numbered safe rooms. Their loop is barricade, print, and last: cash machines, gear factories, door stages from wood toward Eternal Divine Gates, turrets, and a six-legendary weapon climb that ends in the Horn of Counterattack. Details sit on how to play Survivor, the door guide, the economy guide, and the weapons guide.
Hunters start as the two Demons. Their loop is break, evolve, and feast. They grow stronger as the clock moves even if they never land a conversion. They roam between numbered doors looking for the F-tier habit of a Human who never upgrades the frame. Details sit on how to play Hunter and the inverted reading of the doors tier list.
The match is online multiplayer, shipped 24 February 2026. It is not DOORS by LSPLASH. Nobody is hiding in a hotel closet from a different studio’s entities. You are printing machines behind a numbered door, or you are the thing testing the hinge.
Conversion in both directions
Human conversion into Hunter is how the 8v2 stops being 8v2. A fallen room can donate a new Hunter to the hunt. That is why Survivor play is obsessive about doors and why “we still have six people” is not a plan if two of them have changed sides.
Lethal Poison converts original Hunters. That is a Human research job aimed at the two spawn Demons, not at the converted extras. Mixing the two conversions is the most common role error: Poison is not how you recruit a teammate, and dying is not how you apply Poison. Converted Hunter is ranked on the class page as a role, not a shop class. You cannot buy it with 25,000 Gems. You can only become it, or hunt beside it.
Badges that prove you understood the sides
Roblox badges here are role receipts, not DPS.
- Home Sweet Home — occupy a numbered room for the first time. Restoring a room after reconnecting does not count. This is the Survivor “I actually sat down” stamp.
- First Blood — as a Hunter, eliminate a real Human for the first time. Converted or non-Human takedowns do not satisfy it. The badge is picky on purpose: the hunt is about the eight, not about farming your fellow Demon.
- Dawn Survivor — win a valid match as a Human for the first time. Lasting twenty minutes with a door still attached is the whole assignment.
- Twin Portal — a rare Life Wizard receipt. The skill is a room tool; the badge is for people who used it like one.
Badge hunting should not outrank the clock. If you are dying for Home Sweet Home by idling in a wood room, you have the badge energy of a practice dummy. Read getting started before you treat the list as a checklist.
How the other hubs attach to roles
The tier list hub is a September 2026 snapshot of tools. Survivors use it. Hunters invert it. Weapons are a Human ladder. Classes are a Human gem sink plus a warning about converted Hunter. Turrets belong to rooms. Controls belong to both sides and will not pick a side for you.
Codes on codes and how to redeem buy gems for Life Wizard, Magnetic Storm Warrior, and Mechanist. They do not buy First Blood. Events such as Mechanist and NewHunter live on events and updates. Iron Awakening is a Mechanist sentence, not a fourth team. If you use scripts or a GUI, keep them on scripts and scripts GUI. They do not create a third faction.
Reading a lobby as a role sheet
Count spawn Demons (two). Count living Humans in numbered rooms. Count converted Hunters. Count original Hunters still on their evolution clock, and whether Lethal Poison has already converted them. That sheet is the match. A stack of gear factories is not.
New players should start as Human because the room teaches the economy the hunt is trying to break. Then play Hunter until First Blood makes sense. Then read both child pages again. The upgrade planner is a Survivor toy. The Hunter equivalent is target priority: F-tier doors, then B, then the iron holdouts.
Official links and the game page sit on the links hub. This players hub will not grow a dozen named mascots. GhostTribe shipped sides, conversions, and badges. We document those, then we send you back to the door.
The game only starts two sides. Everything else is a conversion, a badge, or a gem kit pretending to be a third team. Open Survivors when you need the room. Open Hunters when you need the hunt. Open badges when you need the official rule text. If you need a character picker, you are in the wrong genre — and the clock is still running.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What are the player roles in BreakDoor?
Eight Humans / Survivors defend numbered rooms. Two Demons / Hunters hunt them. Humans can convert into Hunters, and Lethal Poison converts original Hunters, so the roster can shift mid-match.
Is converted Hunter a shop class?
No. It is a role you become after conversion, not a gem purchase like Life Wizard or Magnetic Storm Warrior. See the class tier list for shop rows and the Hunter page for the role.
Which badges should new players care about?
Home Sweet Home for occupying a room, Dawn Survivor for winning as a Human, and First Blood for eliminating a real Human as a Hunter. Twin Portal is a rare Life Wizard extra.
Is BreakDoor the same as DOORS by LSPLASH?
No. BreakDoor is a GhostTribe online 8v2 shipped 24 February 2026. It uses numbered safe rooms, cash machines, and evolving Demons, not the LSPLASH hotel formula.
Should I learn Survivor or Hunter first?
Start as a Human so you understand why doors and cash machines matter, then play Hunter until First Blood and evolution timing make sense. Both child pages assume you will swap.
