Weapons Tier List

BreakDoor’s weapon story is a ladder, not a loot piñata. Official copy is specific: Humans unlock six legendary weapons, and the climb ends with the Horn of Counterattack, described as powerful enough to slay even a final-form Demon. This page is a September 2026 community snapshot of that ladder. We rank on early-round value, late-round value, and gem sink — though gems mostly buy classes, not the Horn itself — and we will not invent a DPS column to look like a spreadsheet wiki.

If your numbered door is still wood, this list is homework, not a shopping list. Read the doors tier list first. Weapons fire from rooms that still exist.

S — Horn of Counterattack

S is not a vibe. It is the only weapon the developer text bothers to name as a final-form answer. Late-round value is the entire rank. When original Hunters have evolved and converted Hunters are extra bodies in the hallway, the Horn is the Human-side claim that the Demon can still die. Early-round value is poor: you will not hold the Horn during the opening probe, and pretending otherwise is how people skip cash machines.

Treat the Horn as a clock-synced tool. It does not make Eternal Divine Gates optional. It makes Gates worth holding. Pair it with the weapons guide for the in-round climb, and with how to play Survivor so you are not learning the firing rhythm during the last two minutes. If a teammate calls every gun S-tier, they are not reading official copy. Only the Horn is sold as the slayer of the final form.

A — Later legendary stepping stones

The legendary climb has six rungs. The last one is S. The rungs immediately under it are A because they are how a lobby arrives at the Horn without spending ten minutes as a turret operator. Late-round value is decent: a later legendary can still threaten a Demon that is not yet in final form, or keep a converted Hunter from treating your doorway like a turnstile. Early-round value is limited; you still need the economy guide to print the climb.

A-tier weapons are also where turrets stop being a rival and start being a partner. Automatic fire holds the threshold while you finish the next legendary step. See the turret guide. Do not sell the door to fund a pretty A-tier screenshot; the upgrade planner exists so those two spends can coexist.

B — Earlier legendary forms

Early legendaries are B because they are supposed to be embarrassing later. Early-round value is real: they are how you punish a Demon who peeks a wood door before evolution does its work. Late-round value collapses. If you are still on an early legendary when the hunt is in final form, you are bringing a stepping stone to a graduation.

This band is where new Survivors get attached. The first legendary feels like a build. It is a receipt that the gear factories are on. Keep climbing. The getting started page is blunt about tempo; this row is the weapon version of that lecture. B-tier is also the right time to think about Lethal Poison as research rather than as a gun. Poison converts original Hunters. Your early legendary does not.

F — Unupgraded starter

F is the unupgraded starter left in the holster because the player is “waiting.” Waiting is the Demon win condition. Original Hunters evolve with time whether you fire or not. Converted Hunters arrive whether you fire or not. A starter that never enters the legendary climb has no late-round value and only the smallest early-round value — the value of not being empty-handed for thirty seconds.

If you do not know which key fires, open controls. If you do not know which role you are, open the players hub. If you are installing an overlay instead of climbing the six forms, the scripts and GUI pages will not promote the starter into S.

What this list refuses to do

It refuses a fake numeric DPS table. It refuses to name five unofficial legendary titles just to look complete. It refuses to rank the Horn as a lobby flex that replaces Eternal Divine Gates. It refuses to treat Magnetic Storm Warrior or Life Wizard as weapons; those are class ranks and gem sinks.

Demons are not on a six-legendary Human climb. They are on an evolution clock plus conversions. If you are in the two-player hunt, you want the Hunter roles page and how to play Hunter, not a Horn wishlist.

Cash machines and gear factories fund doors, turrets, and the weapon climb from the same print. The wrong read of this list is “dump everything into legendaries.” The right read is “never sit on F, spend B quickly, use A to escort the Horn, and only believe S when the Demon is in final form.” Codes on the codes hub and the redeem guide buy gems for classes. They do not stamp the Horn onto a wood door.

Mechanist event weeks and NewHunter windows can change how urgently you need the Horn versus Iron Awakening utility. Track that on updates and events. Survivor identity still sits under Survivor roles. A Human who converts mid-match does not keep this ladder. Conversion is a role change, not a legendary refund.

The Horn of Counterattack stays S in September 2026 because official text hands it the final-form job and no other named gun claims that job. Earlier legendaries stay A and B because ladders need rungs. Starters stay F because nostalgia is not a fire rate. Climb the six. Do not catalog them. The Demon is not waiting for your museum.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Why is the Horn of Counterattack the only S-tier weapon?

Official copy names it as the last of six legendaries and the tool that can slay a final-form Demon. This snapshot will not invent a second S-tier name to fill a table.

Do you publish DPS for BreakDoor weapons?

No. Community ranks here use early-round value, late-round value, and opportunity cost. Fake DPS would look precise and still be fiction.

Should I rush the Horn before upgrading my door?

No. Weapons fire from rooms that still exist. Put the door into iron stages first, then climb legendaries so the Horn arrives with a frame worth defending.

Where do turrets sit on this weapon list?

They do not. Turrets are time-buyers for a numbered room, ranked by spend priority in the turret guide, not as a seventh legendary.

Are class kits part of the weapon tier list?

No. Life Wizard, Magnetic Storm Warrior, and Mechanist are gem-sink classes on the class list. Converted Hunter is a role, not a gun.
