BreakDoor Getting Started

Your first hour in BreakDoor should answer five questions and ignore everything else. Which team did you join. Where is your numbered room. What do you upgrade before anyone is at the door. How does a round end. Why this is not the horror hallway game people confuse it with. GhostTribe shipped BreakDoor on 24 February 2026 as free Roblox survival with an 8 Humans versus 2 Demons hunt. Servers can hold up to 80 players. Matches are online multiplayer. There is no couch split-screen, and there is no pre-release waiting room anymore.

This page is the first-hour script. Role depth lives on How to Play Survivor and How to Play Hunter after you have spawned once.

Lobby, team select, and the name mix-up

Join from the Roblox listing. Wait for the lobby to finish loading before you hunt for buttons. Team select puts you on Humans (Survivors) or Demons (Hunters). Eight Humans barricade numbered safe rooms, stack cash machines and gear factories, upgrade doors from wood toward Eternal Divine Gates, build turrets, unlock legendary weapons, and try to live about twenty minutes until rescue. Two Hunters break those doors, evolve over the clock, and try to wipe or convert the Human side.

The title looks like DOORS. It is not DOORS by LSPLASH, and it is not a mode about smashing that series. If a friend sent you here because they liked a different door game, reset your expectations: you are running a timed economy defense, not walking a generated hotel.

Before you queue, open Settings in the top-left of the lobby and redeem whatever is live on the Codes Hub. Gems from codes buy classes and Lucky Spins later. They do not replace the cash machine you should tap in the first minute. Control layout for PC and mobile is on BreakDoor controls.

Find the numbered room

Humans do not share one front door. You get a numbered safe room, and Home Sweet Home tracks the first time you occupy one. Restoring a room after a reconnect does not count for that badge. Walk the hall, match the number on your HUD, and go inside. If you wander looking for a group hug spawn, two Hunters will start the round with empty rooms to farm.

Once you are in, look for the things that print money and the thing that keeps Demons outside. Survivor footage is blunt: upgrade the door and the cash or gold machines early, and do not ignore a door that is already under attack. That is the whole first-hour Human loop. Fancy research, Life Wizard portals, and Horn of Counterattack are later pages. Your job in minute one is occupancy plus income plus a door that is no longer flimsy wood.

Hunters skip the numbered-room claim. Your first-hour job is to hit Humans, return to base to spend hunter power upgrades, and learn that attacking is how you level. Every ten levels or so the hunter form upgrades with more damage and health. Standing still waiting for a perfect isolated target is how you enter minute ten still looking like the starting Demon.

First upgrades that actually matter

Spend the first quiet seconds on a cash machine or gear factory so later taps cost less time. Then lift the door off wood. Then glance at the turret only if the door is already being tested. Exact per-level income is not listed here because those numbers move and this page is a first-hour script, not a spreadsheet. The economy guide and door upgrades exist for the next session.

If a Hunter is already on your frame, stop shopping. Repair or upgrade the door that is flashing a warning state. A beautiful laboratory with a broken entrance is a converted Hunter waiting to happen. Conversion is real: Humans can become Hunters (From Prey to Predator), original Hunters and converted Hunters are scored differently, and Lethal Poison research can convert original Hunters. You do not need those badges in hour one. You need to know the round can change your team without a lobby vote.

Win conditions in one paragraph

Humans win by still existing when rescue is due, roughly twenty minutes of night. Hunters win by breaking through, eliminating, or converting until the Human side cannot hold. Hunters can die. Unstoppable streaks reset on Hunter death. Dawn Survivor is the Human night-lived badge. The Hunt Begins and First Blood sit on the Hunter side. Evolution tracks Hunter growth. None of those badges are required to understand the win screen. They are how the game tells you which part of the loop you actually completed.

A three-round learning plan

Round one: Human only. Claim the numbered room, tap income, lift the door, and watch the clock. If you die in four minutes, you ignored a warning state or never found the room. Round two: open the turret after the door is off wood, and peek the laboratory without dumping the whole bank. Round three: Hunter. Attack, return to base, spend levels, and leave a heavily upgraded door for later. Then leave this page. Use the Guides Hub as the index, the Players Hub if you still mix jobs, and Updates when Mechanist appears on the Roblox page.

Hour one fails in predictable ways. People dump Gems on Lucky Spins before they know what a cash machine does, or they help a neighbor while their own wood panel is on fire. Claim your number. Feed the machines. Touch the door. Hit the weak room. Come back after the third round with a specific complaint.

The walkthrough video on this page is a full-loop look, not a substitute for occupying a room yourself. Watch the middle if you cannot find the upgrade UI, then queue. The first minute is a packing list. Specialist guides only help if you already know which number is yours.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

As a Human, find your numbered room, start cash or gold machines, and upgrade the wood door. As a Hunter, attack, return to base, and spend power upgrades.

No. GhostTribe's hunt is 8 Humans versus 2 Demons with numbered rooms and a twenty-minute rescue. It is not affiliated with DOORS.

How do I redeem codes before my first round?

Can I play BreakDoor in local split-screen?

No. It is online multiplayer on Roblox, with servers listing a maximum of 80 players.

When should I read the Survivor or Hunter guides?
